Continuing our search for Brisbane's best parmi, we stopped in to La Dolce Vita Ristorante in Milton. Sporting a miniature Eiffel Tower, who need Paris when you can head to Milton!
Review: Boasting to be the Italian heart of the CBD this venue features plenty of references to the best Europe has to offer. A miniture Eiffel Tower, blue gazebo's, Roman statues and best of all fine Italian home cooking. We felt right at home ordering the Parmi special for our lunch.
The parmi is very well presented with a light garnish on top of a generous serving of cheese. The chicken breast was well cooked with a light crumb, however was not the greatest cut. Traditional garden salad and chips accompanying the Parmi is always a winner with a plentiful serving of tomato sauce.
Like most European meals not a huge serving and as to be expected from an Italian restaurant the parmi was marketed a little more up market then your standard pub meal. Nothing super special about the parmi overall but high scores for atmosphere.
Rating - Score 6.7/10 - A cheap way to escape to Europe, pop down to La Dolce Vita Ristorante Milton for a taste of Italy!
